Dare to Dream
From: The Servant - 2009 By: Pastor Joe Wingo
When the so-called “frumpy” woman walked onto the stage of Britain’s Got Talent, everybody was laughing . . . until she began to sing. By the eighth note the judge’s eyebrows arched and the audience leapt to their feet with roaring applause as Susan Boyle belted out “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables. Folks were downright mesmerized from the moment she opened her mouth till the rousing crescendo with the final heart-felt despairing words, “Life has killed the dream I dreamed.” Within 48 hours her performance had been viewed by more than 12 million people on the Internet. April 21, 2009, CBS News reported this video “crested the 100 million-viewer mark - and may become the most viewed YouTube video ever.”

Joy to Soar!
From: The Servant - 2009 By: Pastor Wes Wingo
Sometimes, we in the Church are accused of glossing over the fact that life can be hard. We may tend to give the impression that all you need to do is give your heart to Jesus and your problems will be solved, your bills will be paid, and you will have success and prosperity. The impression we’ve often given is that Christians have a continual smile on their faces and always are happy. We supposedly sink all our putts, close all our deals, and sail through life.

FEEDING RELATIONSHIPS
One Is the Loneliest Number
From: The Servant - 2009 By: Dr. Dan Clement
A fan of 60s music would recognize the title above as a line from a song by the band Three Dog Night. No doubt, ONE definitely is a lonely number. However, it is not a number that is necessary where we are concerned, and it’s an important number to avoid.
