Pies - Cooking Instructions
Fruit Pies (Apple, Peach, Blueberry, etc.) Preheat oven to 375° F and use lower rack for baking. Place frozen pie on cookie sheet or other suitable tray to catch juices. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 375° F. Lower temperature to 325/350° F (depends upon your oven) and continue baking for an additional 7-9 minutes. Pie is done when juices become thick and when knife inserts easily into center of pie. Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, etc. Pre-heat oven to 400° F and use lower rack for baking. Place frozen pie on cookie sheet or other suitable tray. Bake for 30 minutes at 400° F. Lower temperature to 350° F and continue baking for an additional 60 minutes. Pie is done when knife inserted into center comes out clean. |
